Sponsorship Ideas
You can offset the cost of your books by asking local business to sponsor your school.  You can put your sponsor’s coloured logo on the back of the book under the title: PROUDLY SPONSORED BY… or for smaller donations your sponsor may have their logo printed inside the front of the book in black on white.

Potential sponsors will want to know what they are getting for their money.  It is up to you to set the price, although there are pricing suggestions in the sponsorship letter available form our Downloads page.  You can offer them a flat rate or a price per book printed.  Let your sponsor know approximately how many books will be sold.  It is always a good idea to take your sample book with you when approaching a potential sponsor. This will give them an idea of what their logo will look like and where it will be displayed.

Keep in mind there is limited room on the cover.  Too many sponsors will create a very busy looking cover and will detract from the appearance of the book.  Also, most business will be willing to pay more if they know that they are the only sponsor or that they are one of a few.
