A4 A standard paper size. May vary from region to region.
Australian A4 is 210mm X 297mm.
A5 A standard paper size. May vary from region to region.
Australian A4 is 148mm x 210mm.
CMYK Refers to the four inks used in colour printing:
cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black).
Compressed file Files that take up less space.
Generally compressing files reduces the quality.
Curriculum The subjects comprising a course of study offered at a school.
DPI Dots Per Inch is used to measure the resolution of an image.
DPI measures how many dots fit into a linear inch.
The higher the DPI equals higher resolution and better quality in printing.
High resolution Images that are sharp and finely detailed.
Kb Kilobyte is a unit of mesurement for file size or memory.
1kb is equal to 0.00098 MB. Files should be large when printing.
MB Megabyte is a unit of mesurement for file size or memory.
1 MB is equal to 1024 kb. Files should be large when printing.
Mosaic Small tiles (images or colours) put together to produce a pattern.
Multiculturalism Several different cultures coexisting peascefully within a unified society.
Reflective writing A writer describing real or imaginary events through personal thought or consideration.
Topical writing Writing relating to a theme, subject or issue (generally current).
